Flamenco Classes in Greenwich

Flamenco is for everyone !. It's dynamic and empowering, good for co-ordination, developing your sense of rhythm and is a great way to let off steam, get into shape and of course express yourself!
Classes are fun and informal. You don't need to have had any previous experience or dance training and you don't need a partner.
There will be an opportunity to perform in our annual show alongside professional musicans.
New flamenco class for children aged 4-7yrs starting later this year. Please register your interest with us and when we have enough children we will start a class on Tuesdays from 5.15 -6pm

You are welcome to come and try a class before committing to a term , and
if it's not suitable you only pay for the one class .

We are compiling a name list so please register your child with us (name, age and contact details) and when we have enough children we will start the class!
Monday Absolute Beginners 2012 This course is designed for beginners to give you a taste of flamenco. You'll learn basic technique: beautiful arm and hand movements, footwork technique, flamenco rhythms, palmas (hand clapping) and a short dance as well. This class will improve your posture and your co-ordination! LIMITED to just 8 students! The next course will be September 2012
Monday Technique Class This class will help to develop your technique, in addition to footwork,arms,palamas etc we will introduce abanico (fan) technique, and learn Bulerias.
Childrens Class; Children love flamenco, it's noisy,colourful, rhythmic great for developing co-ordination, balance and confidence. Places are limited maximum group size is 15. Suitable for ages 4 -7 years.
Tues Improvers/Fast Beginners Ideal for those with no or some previous experience, this will be a choreography class & technique class.
Tues Intermediate Suitable for those with at least 2 years previous experience. This class will help to build speed, stamina and co-ordination.
Tuesday classes limited to 15 students! Tuesday Adult classes are accompanied by a flamenco guitarist. Dance studios equipped with mirrors and special sprung floor!

We operate our classes on a termly basis to help students progress together as a group . Drop in is generally more suitable for higher level students
PRIVATE FLAMENCO CLASSES
Private classes can be taken in addition to group classes or instead of them.
Prices are per person per hour and include studio hire.
1 Person = £42 2 People = £25,
3 People = £18 4 People = £15
